"I have had the pleasure of working with clients from all walks of life over the years. Each individual has something special they are looking for in a property. Whether it is a cabin in the woods where they can hike or mountain bike out the back door or the perfect lot on which to build their retirement home, each is unique. It is fun for me to hunt for and find just the right place and during that hunt to develop long term business relationships and friendships." Jill
My husband and I worked with Jill Childress to find our Fraser vacation home. We were relatively unfamiliar with the Winter Park area and it was great to have Jill's expertise on our side. Having lived in the area for many years, Jill was very familiar with all the different subdivisions and knew the history of most of the properties that we looked at. I can't stress how much that knowledge base helped us to make our decision. There were some properties that looked good on paper or even looked good at first glance, but Jill had been in them before and could tell us, "This one is built like a tank and was taken care of very well" or "You don't want this one. The builder went cheap and there are issues with the foundation." We looked at about 30 properties before we found our dream home, and I can honestly say Jill knew every single one of them. Either she had been in them, knew the owners, or knew the history. She also gave us lots of useful information on things to do in the area and places to eat, shop, etc. She was so easygoing and always available to answer our calls. She helped decipher all the documents that go along with buying a property and when it came time for closing, she even drove down to Denver to be there with us when we signed the papers. Househunting from a distance can be difficult, but Jill made it easy and fun. Jill has become a good friend and it's nice to see a familiar face when we go up for the weekend. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Garrett and Joey (2011)
"The old adage, “Never do business with friends or family” does not apply to Jill Childress. Perhaps that’s because when we began working together she was unknown to us, and we’ve built our friendship based upon mutual trust and respect over the course of nearly ten years and nearly as many transactions.
We began looking at real estate in Grand County in 1998 and worked with a wonderful man, part time realtor and part time rancher, driving around in his beaten up, rattling, red pickup. We bought one of the properties he showed us. When we decided to make a second transaction he had unfortunately retired. Luckily, he referred us to Jill.
Over the following years, our transactions have been both large and small. We’ve made them at the height of the real estate mania, and, most recently, in very slow times. Regardless, Jill has shown the same high level of attention and regard for our interests. Her knowledge of the market, individual properties, trends and potential future liabilities have been invaluable. Her honesty and character are beyond reproach.
Beyond Jill’s fine work related qualities, she’s just a nice person. She’s an exemplary member of the community, has a great sense of humor, and is a wonderful skier. It’s a privilege to count her among our friends."

"Jill worked with us for two years prior to buying a house in Winter Park. She cheerfully and patiently showed us dozens of properties. There was never a question about whose interest she represented. She was truly a buyer's representative as she persistently fought for us and represented our interest without fail. She went above and beyond in every aspect of her commitment to us. She was also instrumental in helping us incorporate into the community. She has become our dear friend and we are so grateful that we chose Jill to help us buy a wonderful home in the mountains. " Ken and Jana (2009)
"Eight years ago we were looking for our primary home in the mountains. After living 42 years in the Chicago suburbs, with a Florida residence for the winters, we had some unique and demanding needs. Jill quickly assimilated our situation. She did her homework. She researched sites from Winter Park to Grand Lake. From available and potential home sites in the inventory she selected 11 properties that potentially met our criteria. Ten were close. Marilyn’s remark when we walked in the one we purchased in Winter Park Ranch was, “This is the place!” We worked with several real estate agents in our search. I was impressed with Jill’s professionalism and sales acumen. She knew the market. She was thoroughly familiar with the “inventory”. She quickly grasped her client’s needs and parameters. She was very good in establishing rapport and the interpersonal intangibles. She was effective and efficient in facilitating the closing process. Outside her office Jill is a very active citizen involved in many organizations and activities in East Grand County. In addition to our professional relationship we have become good personal friends." Marlin & Marilyn

"We are satisfied that upon listing, the property, Jill Childress would be the Realtor.
Your presentation and discussing the market, with us, was very good and complete, and as for me, from my background of 40 years in Real Estate. You sure come close to a 10. The information was complete and formated, as professionally done as I have seen." Ray (2011)
